I watched "The Bold and Beautiful" yesterday. It's exciting. You can watch everyday around 4 pm -5 pm. Also you can watch early morning 7 am to 8 am. It's a series.
I literacy just saw "Ocean's 8" this past Tuesday night (with my parents) - it was a GOOD FUN movie!!
I love the swirling background colours of yellow and orange, white and pink, warm and bright and deep ... all making a sumptuous sight to see on a website page!
In answer to your question ‘What is the last movie you watched?’ I can’t remember what the last movie was but, I recently binge watched the series Killing Eve on ABC iView, it was terrific. It focuses on a female contract assassin and the female agent trying to catch her. You should check it out.
The last movie I watched was 'The Big Lebowski' for the 20somethingth time; Cohen Bros are just Gods! ('Yeah, well, you know, that’s just, like, your opinion, man!')
The last movie I watched was The Avengers: Infinity War. I am holding my breath for the next sequel of the film Avengers: Endgame which will be out next year!
I like your picture on your blog. I watch every day barby girl song with my daughter and is really nice song, also I follow my girl steps in her dance.
Ooooohhhhhh you have a very colourful blo- *stares at question* *Covers face in embarrassment* The last movie I watched was Pokémon the power of us It was okay
I liken the design and colour on your blog. last movies was, Sweet Country was very interesting movies and the actors and Bohemia Rhapsody the actor Rami Malek were amazing actor.
Thanks for the intro to Leeton Roxy. It is a gem. I will look out for it. I saw BlacKKKlansman recently. Seamless comedy and activism in one. You'd probably enjoy it, and should check it out if you haven't seen it already.
Interesting to see such an old theatre still active & meeting the community's entertainment needs. The last movie I saw was 'A Star is Born'. It was entertaining & had great music, would recommend.
Wow, love seeing old buildings that are still kept in good condition and the art deco period was so gorgeous, a gem indeed. The last movie I watched was John Wick 3 - I'll pretty much watch anything Keanu Reeves is in but was honestly a bit disappointed with the movie as they didn't really do anything different from the last two.
The last movie I watched was Kate & Leopold. It's about a duke who travels through time from New York in 1876 to present time and falls in love with a woman in modern New York. It's a favourite of mine and I highly recommend it.
The Leeton Roxy Community Theatre is a lovely old Art Deco design building. Great period for architecture. Thanks for showing us. The last movie I watched was Road to Perdition. It's a very good film and one worth watching.
Went to see "All is well" on Friday. It's about Shakespeare and his retirement and return home from the Globe theatre. It was a great movie and I highly recommend it.
That looks like a beautiful theatre. It reminds me of my local cinema, The Randwick Ritz, which dates from a similar era. The last movie that I saw was The Coen Brothers' adaptation of "True Grit". My wife and I watched it on Blu-ray again, as we'd both just read Charles Portis' amazing book upon which it was based.
The last movie I have watched is Godzilla: King of the Monsters. It's a fun movie to watch, with tons of amazing visual effects and a pretty well plotted story.
Beautiful building! Can't believe that it is still in use! The last movie I watched was Ghost in a Shell. Well, I actually fell asleep because I got bored.
What a cool building! I don't often get to the movies but I watch a lot of movies on Netflix or TV. I recently watched Good Will Hunting with my daughter as I love to introduce her to classics from my generation.
The last movie I saw was Dora the Explorer with my daughter. It was more suitable for a teenager. The last movie I saw on SBS movies was a French Beauty and the Beast. The costumes were gorgeous
The last movie I watched was Once Upon a Time, which I borrowed from TAFE Ultimo library. I accidentally borrowed discs 4 and 5 instead of discs 1 and 2.
Disney's Aristocats, a film about a mamma cat get herself and her kittens home to their wealthy owner after the butler tries to get rid of them in order to gain the Madams inheritance money faster after she leaves it to the Cats first then the butler.
Nice blog! I can't remember the last film I saw, I think it might have been Judy. Was shocked she was only 47 when she died. Heck!! Am looking forward to seeing The Irishman next at the Cremorne Orpheum, another great Art Deco styled cinema which usually always has a great selection of films.
Poor old Judy, such a sad soul ; I do want to see Rene Zellwegger(?) play that part though ; she is super smart as an actor ; do you know she did a month as a real PR person to prep for Bridgette jones?
The last movie I got to see was at Hoyts Chatswood with my two young daughters and we watched Dora. It was funny and had jokes for the adults as well as the young.
Your Post of the Roxy Theatre is Beautiful, and great to see the Council get funding for the Roxy Theatre in Victoria. So much history of Australia when going to the pictures was a great special night out, plus the architecture of the Roxy pictures takes you back to the 1930's to 1950's.
There was two Roxy Theatres I know of Sydney but have been sold off and changed. One in Suburbia Granville and Parramatta. It would be nice if Parramatta Council got funding and restored it back. I got to attend the Roxy in Parramatta while it was running in the Mid 90s when I was 12 years old.
The last movie I watch was named "Detective Pikachu"
The Teacher blog was informative with a link to the Roxy Community Theatre. It a introductory text and an question for followers to response. The teacher's blog had many gadgets for followers to know more the teacher's posts.
The last movie that I watched was Howls Moving Castle. It is honestly one of my favourite Movies of all time, done by one of my favourite animation studios; Studio Ghibli.
What a cool theatre! It would be so neat to see it IRL one day. The last movie I watched was Late Night with Emma Thompson and Mindy Kaling, both actors I love! A very enjoyable watch.
That theatre looks to cool and old fashioned! Would love to go there! as for the last movie I saw in full was My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, I saw it with my bf. It's really good.
Love the 70's orange and swirly whirly stuff! And on that theme, I'm looking forward to seeing the new Quentin Tarantino movie about Charles Manson ; 'Once upon a time in Hollywood'. (although probably on video- is that beta or VHS tape I see over there?
If stand up comedy counts as a movie, last night I watched Trevor Noah Son of Patricia
If not, I was in the same room as STARWARS ROGUE ONE on Sunday but I wasn't actually watching it. I don't remember the last movie I watched all the way through, but it was probably Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.
I went to go see Predator 4 last year at the movies. It is my favourite movie in the whole world & I liked it a lot. my character in Predator from the Predator series & AVP series is Predator because he has always been my favourite character since when I was a little kid when I was younger back than & I grew up with the franchise.
It's nice to see cinemas that are in their own buildings, and it has such a nice style too. Apparently a cinema I've been going to since I was a child is being taken down, unfortunately. At least I got to see one last film there (The LEGO Movie 2).
The last film I saw in cinemas was either Toy Story 4 or Shazam! with some of my friends, I can't remember which. Both were amazing though.
Hi Sharon, what spectacular colours of the Roxy development project picture! Btw, did you watch the documentary of Michael Hutchene the other night last week? It was pretty good and moving. Hope you have a good weekend. Ingrid van der Woude :))
...Wow, this Roxy theater reminds me of the Randwick Ritz Cinema in my area! It's lovely that those classic gems are still used and cherished as active cinemas.
The last movie I saw was... I think either Ride Like a Girl or The Lion King - at Randwick Ritz, of course! I liked Ride Like a Girl, it's a typical feel-good Aussie tale. The Lion King was a bit too realistic though - I much prefer the original animation version!
There is an image of the Roxy community theatre taken at night on the theatre's website, which is really beautiful. I watched 'the Man Who Invented Christmas' recently. It deals with the story how Charles Dickens created Scrooge at a Christmas Carol. It is a good movie for Christmas.
Thankyou for Posting about Leeton Theatre, it reminds of my years watching movies at The Ritz at the Spot in Randwick. It's great to see a lot of freestanding Art Deco architecture still in business. The last movie I watched this year was Captain Marvel at Event Cinema, Macarthur Square. It was a present to myself to enjoy me time. I was laughing so hard during the cat scences that I started choking on my popcorn. Really enjoyed the movies '90's story backdrop and comical humour.
The last movie I watched was Fisherman's Friends on Tuesday night at another art deco gem, the United Cinema in Collaroy. We try to go there as often as possible to make sure it stays in business! The movie was fun.
Love the theatre picture. I haven't watched a movie in forever, however, I did watch the most amazing film in an Art Deco movie theatre in Auckland, NZ. I was doing a mum/daughter (13) road trip and we were the only ones in the theatre! It was stunningly beautiful. We watched Mirror Mirror (it was fantastic!)
The last movie I watched was a foreign film on Netflix, it was a Chinese Martial Arts / Drama Movie. I was expecting more action but was left with disappointment by the end of the movie as it mainly focused on drama.
It is lovely the picture of Roxy Theatre and I like the style of building. The last movie I watched on YouTube and was Chines drama that was about detective story.
The last movie I saw was Frozen 2. But it was a bit disappointment as the events turned to be like… I know what will happen next kind...predictable... I liked the Frozen 1 though.
The last movie I watched was No Time to Die which is the new movie in March,it is excited although the actor ,Daniel Craig Never Dreamed of Being James Bond, It Was Always Superman or Spider-Man.
What a great photo! Old cinemas like this need to be preserved. The last movie I saw at the cinema was Queen and Slim at the Randwick Ritz - a sort of African American Bonnie and Clyde. As of now we can't go to the cinema so it can stay in the memory.
The last movie I watched was Midway which is new World War II movie in 2019. It is about U.S Navy Fleet were fought with Japanese aircraft carrier With spectacle and exciting scenes.
lovely vintage pic, instead of saying the last movie I watched, I would like to say I wish the last movie I watched was the live action Disney version of Mulan, it was due late March this year, so right in the midst of a lockdown, the cinemas didn't stand a chance! it is rare to see Asian actors playing lead roles in Disney movies.I was so looking forward to seeing this movie with my friends, I even tagged them in a post I made on fb... I have a feeling this will go straight to DVD.
The last movie i watched The Sky Is Pink on Netflix a movie based on the life of a motivational speaker who died in 2015 when she was 18 fighting with pulmonary fibrosis through her life.
Kinda nostalgic isn't it. Brings to mind the old Roxy at Parra and i think there's one over at Neutral Bay which is still an active cinema. Caught one of the last pictures showing at Roxy Parra. Black dog, Think it was Swayze's last movie as well.
The last movie I watched was Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, it was my dad that came across it playing on Foxtel but it was already maybe half an hour in so we were a little confused for the rest of the film. My dad and I enjoyed it though! Although we do want to see it again- from the start this time.
Last movie I have watched was “Frozen2” last Christmas with my husband at the Reading cinema. It was a beautiful animation movie and took me to the fantastic dreamy world😊.
I watched the movie " Okja" on Netflix the other night. it was about a gentle giant and the girl's story in animal activism, corporate greed and scientific ethics.
The last movie I had watched was The Devil Wears Prada. This movie is about a young woman who has graduated in journalism comes to New York and becomes an assistant to one of the city's biggest magazine editors, the ruthless and cynical Miranda Priestly.
The last movie I watched was "Fisherman's Friends" set in Port Isaac in Cornwall. It was full of humour, music and fabulous Cornish accents and scenery.
The last movie I watched was Yesterday (2019). I love Richard Curtis, and I showed this movie to my Mother-In-Law, Sandra. She enjoyed it immensely as she loves the Beatles. I watched it at the movies when we could still go, with one of my best friends, Danielle, last year.
The last movie I watched was called "Pride" (2014) with Bill Nighy, Imelda Staunton, Dominic West and directed by Matthew Warchus. It follows the 1984 Welsh Mineworker's Strike in England, where a group of gay and lesbian activists make an alliance with the striking miners'. It's a brilliant movie and one of the most enjoyable movies I've watched in years.
I am always watching movies at home. The last was 1917 which was based during World War 1. The last movie I saw in the theater was Star Wars, THE LAST JEDI.
That's a really funky looking cinema. It reminds me of the Hayden Orpheum in Cremorne actually. That's another very art deco theatre. The last movie that I watched was Apollo 11 on Netflix, I can't remember exactly what the last movie I saw in theatres was, it might have been Knives Out. It's been a long time with COVID restrictions.
What a lovely theatre, I am lucky to have a beautiful theatre here in Roseville. I honestly can't remember the last movie I saw at the cinema pre covid-19. It would have been a blockbuster style one. At home the last movie I watched was Julie Julia.
Wow I'm so glad they still have these old cinemas, so much better than ugly multiplexes 🤢 I wish video shops still existed. 😔 The last film I saw was The Evil Dead, the 80's horror comedy classic at the Hayden Orpheum, another old art deco cinema.
Last movie I watched was "Bridge to Terrabithia", I actually forced my kids to watch and they loved it. Although it is sad at the end and I always cry at one point. But that's what happens with great movies.
The last movie I watched was probably Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, because the last few months I have been rather watching old series of Star Trek, Stargate and now Merlin.
I think the last film I watched was 'The Death of Stalin' and I watched that one like sometime last year. Not really up to date on the whole movie scene!
The last movie I watched was the 2018 period drama "Colette" about the French feminist author, it starred Keira Knightley and was interesting for me because I knew nothing about her life.
My first time to create my own account on BLOG. It is close to Facebook, we all know that facebook are the most well known in the world and millions of people are using it everyday. I am happy to discovered this through our teacher Sharon and I like it because the BLOG is very useful and I am the author.
Well, I don't remember when is the last I watched a movie, maybe around March or April 2020, it called THE DEAD DON'T DIE (Netflix) horror movie, it all about zombies.
I saw a very depressing film called Hope Gap last weekend with some girlfriends. It was set in a small English coastal town and starred Annette Bening and Bill Nighy as an old married couple. The marriage took a turn for the worst when Bill announced he was leaving her for another, far less demanding and annoying, woman. It was hard not to blame him!

Your question makes me realised that it's been years I didn't go to the movie theatre. It's because my husband prefers watching movie at home with kids. The last movie I watched in the theatre was Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince :)
The most recent movie I watched was Picnic at Hanging Rock, an Australian movie from 1975. It's based on a book published a few years before that. I have to admit that some movies from the 70's have aged better than others :)
I honestly can't remember the last movie I watched in a cinema. These days with Covid and whatnot we mostly watch movies at home! And I'm more into TV Series anyway
The last movie I watched in a cinema was 1917. Last weekend I made my girlfriend watch Holidate on Netflix, for something fun and light. She makes me watch horror movies which I don't mind but they're not my favourite genre. Luckily we both like Sci-Fi and action movies!
The Roxy looks like a lovely old theatre. It's good when a community can continue to have access to a service like this one. I am fortunate to live near the Hayden Orpheum at Cremorne. I don't go as regularly as I should but I have been to some of their special showings with the actors or directors. They also have regular retro film sessions. https://www.orpheum.com.au/
I really like the architecture of the building. I am glad they are preserving it. The last movie I saw was Downton Abbey which I enjoyed as a way to end the series that I had watched on TV over a few seasons.
I love the art deco cinemas, as others have mentioned earlier the Hayden Orpheum in Cremorne is still going and as a kid I used to go the Regent cinema in Richmond, another art deco style cinema (special mention to the Valhalla in Glebe which is no longer a cinema unfortunately). I can't quite remember the last movie I saw at the cinemas, I think it may have been Army of Darkness (Evil Dead 3) at the Orpheum, it's a great silly action adventure/horror movie and it was nice to finally see it on the big screen after years of watching it on video!
The last movie I watched was "The Pirates of the Caribbean: At worlds End". My partner, son and I are enjoying going through them and will watch the next instalment tonight! Darrrghhh.....
I do enjoy watching movies from YouTube nowadays. The last movies I watched was "The Story of Yanzi Palace". It's 70 episode Drama Series. I loved the Theme song "The Sound of Snow Falling".
The last movie I saw was Mulan with my mum. She wanted to watch the 2020 version of the film, but it wasn't released on Disney+ yet, so we ended up watching the original 1998 Disney film because she had never seen it.
The last movie I recall watching was 'My Neighbour Totoro', which is a film about these two children embarking on a journey accompanied by the forest spirits who live nearby. It's one of Studio Ghibli's more renowned works alongside 'Howl's Moving Castle' and 'Spirited Away'.
The last movie I watched was 'Nobody'. Nice blog - straight forward and to the point. Btw, I love those old art deco cinemas. Check out those at Roseville, Randwick, Cremorne and Surry Hills.
The last movie I watched was Dora the explorer it was awesome. Isabelle Moner is a very good actor who plays the character Dora in the Movie. I watched the movie at the Randwick Ritz Cinema before covid19. I enjoyed the movie.
The last movie I watched was Run - a thriller/horror about a girl in a wheelchair and a possessive mother. It wasn't really a horror but was watchable.
The last movie I watched was Lord of The Rings - A very popular fantasy book that was turned into a movie that I had never seen before. Was an excellent movie.
The last movie I watched was on Amazon Prime and it was called BLISS and it was weird but really good at the same time. Not sure I would recommend it because I do like really weird things.
Art deco is one of my favourite building and art styles. The last movie I watched was Knives Out, a detective mystery starring Daniel Craig with a Southern accent, Jamie Lee Curtis, and others.
Last movie I watched in the cinemas was a Quiet Place Part 2. A horror movie directed by John Krasinski which stars him, his wife Emily Blunt and Cillian Murphy. I loved the first one when it came out and enjoyed this one a lot as well. Its set in a world where if people make any sound these monsters will find them and kill them.
The last film I watched at the cinema was Tom & Jerry The Movie. As the title suggests, it was a kids' movie which is what I tend to watch a lot of these days with my two little ones. We watched this movie in another beautiful art deco cinema, The Ritz in Randwick.
The last movie I watched in the cinema was Raya and the Last Dragon. My daughter and I really like the dragon named Sisu. She is very kind and determined.
it's a very amazing blog.

The last movie I saw was... I think either Ride Like a Girl or The Lion King - at Randwick Ritz, of course! I liked Ride Like a Girl, it's a typical feel-good Aussie tale. The Lion King was a bit too realistic though - I much prefer the original animation version!
Cheers, Kaori :)
There is an image of the Roxy community theatre taken at night on the theatre's website, which is really beautiful.

I have a feeling this will go straight to DVD.

I don't go as regularly as I should but I have been to some of their special showings with the actors or directors. They also have regular retro film sessions.
